About us
PALGO Center is an independent, non-profit-making and non-governmental organization, located in Belgrade, Serbia, established in 1996 and in its present form in 1998. PALGO Center’s primary objectives are to promote education, expertise, research and publishing activity in the field of public administration, local government, and public policy. PALGO Center’s activities focus on: annual conferences and season schools; specialist courses, training and workshops; interdisciplinary study and research work; publishing and dissemination of the specialized literature; cooperation, exchange programs, and networking.
PALGO Center aims to advance and develop the capacities of state institutions and organizations, to assist in the adoption of European and international standards, and to encourage the effective and functional decentralization of government.
