City of Belgrade Development Strategy (CBDS)

In preparing the Development Strategy, PALGO Center will undertake a SWOT analysis, delineate strategic goals and draft a vision statement by providing drafts, facilitating meetings and/or workshops so that members of the City Commission for Strategic Plan Preparation can discuss and modify these documents before they are finalized.
PALGO Center will ensure that broad participation from the City Government, the private sector and the NGO community feeds into the strategy development. Other important stakeholders that will participate are the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, the Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency, the Foreign Investment Council, the Belgrade Land Development Public Agency, the Republic Agency for Spatial Planning, the National Alliance for Local Economic Development and other local and international experts.
The final output will be a comprehensive development strategy for Belgrade alongside an integrated implementation and financing plan. There will be detailed components on spatial and urban planning, on the Belgrade investment cycle (public and private) and on managing internal and international cooperation.
