Agreement on cooperation between APAD and PALGO Center
In November 2002 PALGO Center and the Agency for Public Administration Development (APAD) agreed cooperation encompassing drafting model laws - Law on Public Administration and Law on Civil Servants, and preparing the strategy of public administration modernization.
In the period November 2002 – March 2003 PALGO Center and the Agency created the team of experts who prepared the document “Strategy on Public Administration Reform in Serbia”, presented on the consultative meeting in the hotel “Palace” in June 2003 and adopted as a final draft version and good base for defining final Governmental Strategy.
The Agreement also anticipated cooperation on drafting the model laws on public administration and civil servants. PALGO Center team prepared models that were presented in May 2003 in the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Government.
